About O’Malley & Madden, P.C.

Megan O’Malley and John Madden met and began their journey together while in law school. After graduating in 1997, both took the very unusual step of opening their own law practices in Chicago while still very young lawyers. Being solo practitioners so early in their careers forced them to work extra hard and teach themselves the skill of effective advocacy for their clients. The extra effort paid off, and after several early significant successes, Megan and John decided to merge their practices and open O’Malley & Madden, P.C. in February 2001. The partnership in law also became a partnership in life shortly thereafter when the two were married in May 2001. The firm has since grown with associate attorneys, law clerks, office managers, and other staff as well as an adorable firm mascot – Fiona, our Irish goldendoodle!

Both Megan and John believe that the law is an honorable profession in which lawyers can use their skills to help others.
